From Foundation Stage 1 (FS1) onwards, children are expected to attend school wearing the RPS school uniform. Our simple uniform plays a vital role in fostering a sense of belonging and unity within our diverse community. By wearing a school uniform, our pupils not only develop a strong connection to RPS, but also embrace the values of equality and inclusivity, which are central to our community ethos.

Nursery
We will adopt a staggered approach to our uniform policy for all nursery children. Our navy blue polo t-shirts can be worn with any shorts or skirt. We hope this will serve to assist parents as nursery children enjoy messy play, painting, and eating, it is inevitable that clothes will get dirty. We suggest a few rotating sets of non-valuable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty and that can be easily washed.

PE/Sports Kit
Timetables will indicate on which days your child/children will have PE lessons. On days that they have PE, children should arrive at school in their PE kit and wear it throughout the day. PE/Sports kit consists of:

White socks and white trainers
Swimming Kit
Children also have timetabled swimming lessons. They will use the changing rooms to change before and after the lesson. Swimming kit includes:
RPS swimming costume
RPS swimming cap (not compulsory)
Swimming/PE bag
Additional kit required through the year
T-shirt in house colour (you will be notified of the house your child is assigned to)
RPS Navy Blue sweater
RPS Navy Blue Legionnaire Cap
Football socks (if they play football/soccer)
Please ensure all uniform is clearly named. Our uniform partner (see below) can supply custom printed iron-on name tags.
