Healthy Food Choices at RPS
We are dedicated to nurturing the wellbeing of our pupils in line with Cognita's Be Well Charter. One of the 6 pillars of the Be Well Charter is a healthy diet and, at RPS, we are committed to promoting healthy food choices within our school community. We understand the significant impact nutrition has on a child's learning, growth, and overall wellbeing. By offering nutritious snack and lunch options, we support our pupils in making wise food choices that not only fuel their bodies but also enhance their ability to focus and succeed in their academic and extracurricular pursuits.

Helping our families to ensure children are eating wholesome meals everyday
For primary school children, a range of healthy hot and cold healthy meals and snacks are provided on-site by our partner, the Tuck Shop Café.
Tuck Shop Café are committed to providing tasty, healthy school meals. All meals are prepared onsite daily using fresh ingredients and packed in eco-friendly packaging. They offer a 3 week termly menu with many different options to boost your children's energy levels throughout the day. Each day includes a snack for break (includes fruit of the day) and one of the tasty lunch options, all include sides and a mini bake.
Packed Lunches
Families who do not take advantage of school snack and lunch provision can send their children in with healthy snacks and packed lunch. Nursery children are also expected to be provided with lunch and snacks from home. We’ve included some suggestions of what may be included.
*Please note that we are a nut free school so snack boxes should not include nuts or nut based products.
