At Ranches Primary School, we’re always excited to share stories that reflect our values—community, wellbeing and inspiring young minds to be the best they can be.

We were thrilled to see this recent feature in Khaleej Times about Lee Ryan, a passionate educator and five-time Guinness World Record holder, who ran an incredible 180km across six Cognita schools in just five days—all to encourage students to get active and embrace a love of movement.

From cheering crowds to students joining in for a lap or two, this initiative brought school communities together while raising awareness for the Sparkle Foundation, which supports access to education for children in Malawi.

Lee’s message is a timely reminder of the importance of balance—getting children outdoors, away from screens, and into environments where they can grow not just academically, but physically and emotionally too.
